The Perfect Spring Mocktail
Nothing signals the beginning of warm spring days and long summer nights like an ice-cold pitcher brimming with fresh-cut fruit. This lemonade sangria mocktail bursts with color and is sure to be a standout at the backyard cookout or while lounging around the pool.
Ingredients are simple. You can even use frozen fruit if there’s no time to chop fresh fruit.
ingredients
- 1 large lemonade or sangria pitcher
-
2-3 cups of chopped strawberries, watermelon, apples, grapes, and oranges (or fruit of choice)
- 1 wedge of lime
- 1 sprig of mint
- 7 cups natural limeade
- 7 cups natural lemonade
- 6 cups sparkling apple juice
directions
1. FRUIT
If using fresh fruit, rinse and chop fruit into small pieces and add to the pitcher. If using frozen fruit, thaw to make it easier to separate fruit pieces and then add to the pitcher.
2. AROMATICS
Tear mint sprig into small pieces and add to the fruit.
3. JUICE
Pour in limeade and lemonade then add sparkling apple juice and stir.
4. GARNISH AND ENJOY
For the last step, squeeze juice from the wedge of lime into the pitcher and serve!
